Qualifications
  • 1976 – Completed General Nursing Certificate at Royal Brisbane Hospital (RBH)
  • 1977- 1978 – Internal Hospital Theatre Course at RBH
  • 1978-1981 – Registered Nurse Accident and Emergency Department RBH with extensive experience in triage, acute medical and surgical units, minor operations and resuscitation.
  • 1983-1985 – Bachelor of Human Movement Studies, University of Queensland (final subject completed at Canberra University Sports Science Department in 1991)
  • 1989 – (April) Graduated with Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B. Phty) at University of Queensland
  • 1991 – Graduated with Bachelor of Human Movement Studies, Qld Uni, with a major in exercise physiology
  • From 1991 until 2001 Jennifer completed many postgraduate physiotherapy courses including levels 1, 2 and 3 in Dance Medicine Australia (DMA) Clinical Pilates and Core Stabilisation and Levels 1, 2 and 3 Sports Physiotherapy, Level 1-3 Scientific Back and Abdominal Training with Paul Chek and various spinal and peripheral joint courses.
  • Apart from local annual lectures and seminars she keep informed of current issues and research by attending The APA National Conference that is held every two years and the annual Sport Physicians Symposiums as well as the Sports Medicine Australia Conference each year.
  • 2003 – graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma in professional Writing from University of Canberra
  • Currently undergoing matwork and eqipment certification training through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) and final Level 4 DMA Pilates course.
  • Jennifer is also increasing her skills in treating jaw or TMJ dysfunction by attending courses in this area in 2014.
