She has a special interest in the management of Acute and Chronic pain disordersshoulder/hand injuriesspinal conditions and knee pain.  Gwen is proficient in the use of Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) for the treatment of common conditions such as sacral painpatella tendinopathyplantar fasciitisAchilles’ tendinopathy and neck pain and has seen many good outcomes for her clients. She is also trained in graded motor imagery with the Neuro Ortho Institute for conditions such as Chronic Regional Pain Syndromechronic tennis elbow and phantom limb sensations where graded brain exercises are the focus of treatment. Gwen loves engaging her clients in functional as well as gym-based rehabilitation – using equipment such as kettlebellsdumbbellsbodyweight.
